Alice Bennett in “Kitchen Remodel Timeline: Your Week-by-Week Guide to a New Kitchen”The article mentions custom countertops can add 2-3 weeks to the project. That seems like a significant chunk of time. I'm in Philadelphia and planning a kitchen refresh, so I'm weighing whether to go with stock or custom. Has anyone else found that wait time for custom countertops to be a major bottleneck?this minute

Bernard Hughes in “Kitchen Remodel Timeline: Your Week-by-Week Guide to a New Kitchen”It's interesting how much the timeline hinges on the "rough-in" phase for plumbing and electrical. Discovering outdated or undersized systems behind the walls can really throw a wrench into the schedule, especially if you're looking at a full structural overhaul. That's where a good plumber comes in handy, ensuring your new kitchen isn't just pretty but also functional and up to code.this minute

Owen Thackeray in “Kitchen Remodel Costs and ROI: What to Expect in the US”The article breaks down the costs pretty clearly, but I'm always curious about the ROI side of things. Minor remodels recouping their full cost sounds great on paper, but I wonder how that plays out in practice. Are there specific material upgrades that consistently boost value more than others? Like, does quartz really outperform granite in terms of added home value, or is it more about the overall aesthetic and quality of the installation?5 min. ago
